This is the best German restaurant in the whole region. Even my vegetarian veterinarian friend ate meat there because she personally knows how well their animals are treated and how healthy they live.
The place is a magnífic traditional German inn where time has not passed. They are highly professional and efficient in the service. I would highly recommend to always ask them about the day's specialty: you will never be disappointed.
The food is a feast of flavors and quality. Everything is fresh and juicy. The sauces are all homemade and they preserve German regional traditions but also keep an eye on the happenings in modern international cuisine.
My personal recommendation : a soup as a starter, could be asparagus or chantrelles, depending on the season. As main dish I take Wiener Schnitzel because it's perfectly done. If you like wild meat, this is the place to order it. Their varieties of potatoes as side dish are also worth a try. Don't forget to try something sweet.
Also recommended : try to book on advance. The place is famous and with good reason always full. The prices are very fair.
